Welcome to the 2016 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship Volunteer Registration

Wellesley Country Club is honored to host the 2016 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship to be held Saturday, September 17th through Thursday, September 22nd with official practice rounds on Thursday and Friday, September 15th and 16th.  The USGA and Wellesley Country Club appreciate your interest in volunteering to help make this championship a great experience for everyone involved.

Nearly 400 volunteers will be needed to serve as walking marshals, scorers, spotters, standard bearers, player registration assistants and more. Training and orientation will be provided prior to the event to help volunteers prepare and to answer any questions. The training sessions will be held on September 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on September 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Wellesley Country Club.

Volunteer Package Information

Volunteers are encouraged to commit to a minimum of three (3) shifts. These shifts may vary as all volunteer positions are not required each day. Specific shift times will depend on the assignment and needs of the championship. The schedule of events and more detailed information can be found at www.wellesleycc.com.

For $35 each volunteer will receive a Volunteer Package that includes:

• A championship logo golf shirt (manufactured by Greg Norman)
• A championship logo cap regular fit adjustable baseball cap or oversized fit adjustable baseball cap
• Breakfast or lunch per volunteer shift
• A Volunteer Appreciation round of golf at Wellesley Country on Monday October 3, 2016 for volunteers who are non-members and have worked for a minimum of 3 shifts
• Women's Shirt Sizes:  XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL
• Men's Shirt Sizes:  S, M, L, XL, XXL

For an additional price of $22 you may purchase a second shirt in the same size. 

Men and women may wear their own khaki pants or shorts. Women may also wear khaki skorts or skirts of appropriate length.
